The University of Kisubi (UniK) proudly announces the launch of the Centenary Scholarship Scheme. This prestigious initiative commemorates the historic milestone of 100 years of dedicated service, leadership, and holistic educational transformation by the Brothers of Christian Instruction in Uganda.
To honour this rich legacy, the University of Kisubi is offering 100 fully and partially funded tuition scholarships for the August intake 2026. The scheme is open to all qualified applicants who demonstrate academic potential, strong values, and a commitment to personal growth.
Special Consideration: While this is a general scholarship scheme open to all eligible students, special talent in Football, Basketball, Music Performance or Academic Excellence will be a distinct added advantage during the selection process.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following institutional requirements to be considered for an award:
- Academic Eligibility: Must meet the minimum entry requirements for the specific undergraduate degree program applied for at the University of Kisubi.
- Discipline & Character: Must demonstrate a clean disciplinary record and a strong commitment to the values of holistic education.
- Talent: Applicants with verifiable talent in Football, Basketball, or Music Performance are highly encouraged to submit proof of their achievements for preferential consideration.
Application Requirements
Interested candidates must submit a complete application packet containing:
- A completed University Admission Application Form
- A formal Scholarship Application Letter addressed to the Academic Registrar.
- Copies of academic documents (UCE, UACE, or equivalent certificates/transcripts).
- If applicable: A Talent Portfolio supporting your skills in sports or music (e.g., recommendation letters from coaches/tutors, certificates of participation, or awards).
- Two passport-size photographs.
How to Apply
Application forms can be obtained from the Office of the Academic Registrar at the Kisubi Campus upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 70,000, payable to the University of Kisubi bank account No. 3100007801 at Centenary Bank, or via Airtel Merchant Code 4304004. Completed applications should be submitted either in person to the Office of the Academic Registrar or online at www.unik.ac.ug, along with proof of payment.
