Finance department is headed by the Director of Finance who works with other members including Accountant, Assistant accountant, accounts Clark, Cashier and Procurement officer.

The whole department is supervised by the Deputy Vice chancellor in charge of finance and administration who ensures that the activities within the department run smoothly.

Objectives of the department

• To ensure that there is proper handling of inflows inform of internal and external funds.
• To ensure that all the activities of the university are done according to plan by ensuring timely facilitation in terms of funds.
• To ensure that the outflow of the university is very much handled especially through careful study of payments to be done and handling all expenditures according to the budget.
