Serve & Save Project – Serving in a Fragile World

The Serve & Save Project is a student-led initiative in partnership with the Uganda Red Cross Society , UniK Red cross club and the Service Learning Club of the University of Kisubi. It was developed in response to the rising cases of crime, conflict, and violence that continue to cause harm within our communities.

Through this initiative, students first equipped themselves with standard first aid skills and extended this knowledge to the community through practical training sessions held at the University of Kisubi. A total of 25 participants, including youth and road users from Entebbe and the university community, were trained.

The sessions focused on essential life-saving skills such as CPR, recovery position, and bleeding control, empowering participants to respond effectively to emergencies and preserve life before professional help arrives.

Guided by the theme “Serving in a Fragile World,” the project reflects a commitment to building resilient, informed, and prepared communities through student-led action and humanitarian service
