Hundreds Graduate at the 9th Graduation ceremony

Hundreds graduated with several Degrees and Diplomas at the 9th Graduation held on 4th October 2024. This was the second graduation this year since the attainment of Charter status.

The event started with Eucharist celebrations led by The Pope Nuncio Emeritus Archbishop Augustine Kasujja who represented the His Grace Paul Ssemogerere, Archbishop of Kampala. In his homily he implored the youths who graduate from institutions of higher learning to be the light of the world in whatever they do by fighting against evils such as corruption, protect mother nature and the environment and help the poor.

In his message delivered by the Vice President Maj. (Rtd) Jessica Alupo at the 9th graduation ceremony of the University of Kisubi, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni applauded the institution for a successful progress in using surrounding resources in science studies in transforming people’s lives.

The State Minister for Higher Education, Dr. John Chrysostom Muyingo who also graced the ceremony, confirmed that according to their inspection and observations, the University is producing quality Education, hence asking the University Council to continue putting emphasis on research and practical studies to produce and practical persons for the job market in the country.

Meanwhile, Brother Casio Aizire, the Chancellor of the University of Kisubi and Provincial Superior of the Institute of the Brothers of Christian Instruction called upon the graduates to go out to the world with the holistic Education they have acquired, they should be agents of change in their communities, they should avoid time wasting and think “outside the box” because they are facing a world full of challenges due to technology which has been misused.
