Mr. Kimuli Julius is the 11th Guild President of the University of Kisubi (UniK) for the 2026/2027 academic year, a dedicated student leader whose passion for service and advocacy has been shaped through years of progressive leadership experience.
His leadership journey began in his early school years when he was elected class monitor in nursery school. Throughout primary school, he served as a sanitary prefect, developing a deep appreciation for servant leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving. In secondary school, he rose to the position of Head Boy, where he honed his skills in student representation, negotiation, communication, and people management.
Upon joining the University of Kisubi, Julius became actively involved in student leadership and advocacy. Recognizing the challenges faced by students in areas such as accommodation, campus facilities, and welfare, he committed himself to championing meaningful change through the Students’ Guild. His contributions to student-led initiatives, including UniK HESSA, positioned him as a strong voice for the student community.
Elected under the theme “Results with Resolve,” Julius leads with a vision of strengthening collaboration between students and the university administration, promoting inclusivity, and advancing student welfare and academic excellence. He is committed to fostering a campus environment where every student feels represented, supported, and empowered to succeed.
As Guild President, Julius considers it a great privilege to serve the University of Kisubi community and remains dedicated to upholding the institution’s values of excellence, integrity, and service. He continues to inspire fellow students through his belief that leadership is not about position or authority, but about creating positive impact and empowering others.
