Br Francis is a professed member of the religious body called the Brothers of Christian Instruction, located in Kisubi, Entebbe. Br Francis is a re-known skills based trainer, having a acquired a certificate in electrical installation Part 11, from Kamengo Technical Institute. Br. Francis also holds a certificate in electrical installation craft part 111, from St Joseph’s Technical Institute Kisubi. Finally, Br. Francis has a Diploma in instruction and technical teacher education, from Kyambogo University.

Uganda is now looking at skilling the youth, as it has been established that vocational skills are more employable than academic knowledge. University of Kisubi too, has embraced this new wave of vocational studies, and one way of boosting the department, was to entrust the department with an expert in the vocational skills.

Br. Francis was an electrician at Mugwanya Preparatory school, Kabojja. Until 2018, Br. Francis was the Principal of Mount St. Tereza Community College.
