About the Conference Format:

The conference will be of an interdisciplinary nature, with participating partners throughout seven different countries. Our colleagues in Eastern and West Africa will have a measured and planned physical presence in groups at their respective sites while following Covid-19 precautions. On October 5th and 6th, we will have a virtual synchronous presence where all sites will be in a shared window of time to learn, share, and connect socially in the spirit of standing together. 

COVID-19 has presented new global challenges, requiring continual adjustments and creative solutions in remaining connected and contributing in meaningful ways. We are grateful for the technology that allows us to contribute and grow in collaborative ways on a global scale.
 We would like to thank our partners at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Office of Global Health, for their technology assistance to make this event possible.
