University of Kisubi Wood ball corporate team, participated and won the 11th Kyambogo open woodball championship 2022- Corporate category (Male), and emerged 2nd in the women’s category. The Event took place on the 19th February 2022 at Kyambogo University Cricket Oval. UniK men emerged winners after beating, UNEB wood-ball team, Ndejje Corporate, Bank of Uganda, Buganda Land Board, New vision, Game Seck, ZOE wood ball, IUIU wood ball team, Stroke Woodball club.
In his presentation to University Management the Captain of the team, thanked the University of the support and the team for the team spirit exhibited during trainings and the tournament, he asked the University for more support and better preparations and promised more trophies in the future.
The Patron of the team Bro Augustine Tumwebaze (The University Finance Director), thanked the team and promised more support in consultation with the management team and looking forward to the East African games at Ndejje 2022.
The Vice Chancellor Bro. Dr. Mugema Deogratias commended the the team for their efficiency, in regards to little resources and the this win. He encouraged the team to keep the wining spirit in all spheres of life
